For her PhD work, which is part of the co.LAB project, Estelle Prior is developing a model of collaborative game design. This model focuses the issues of knowledge transfer and the decision-making processes within the design team. This model feeds the reflection that is carried out on the co.LAB platform and, more broadly, on interdisciplinary work of the design-oriented research type.

This model is now being used in the context of an experiment to design odf TSADK, a game dedicated to the teaching of programming. The work of the team in charge of designing and producing the game is led by Mathieu Vermeulen (IMT Lille Douai). It is based on a model of the co.LAB platform. The working sessions of the design team are recorded and analysed in order to identify the elements to be taken into account so that the platform facilitates collaboration and decision making within the design team.

The thesis is entitled "JEN co-design and analysis model to support the collaboration of multidisciplinary teams, working in RoC". An abstract can be found on the LIP website.
